I know it THICKENS hair but how do you use it? I'm african american and I have natural curly hair? Should I just massage the castor oil in my scalp for 15 minutes 3x a week. How often would I do this. Is this the correct method?

You only apply to freshly washed hair. Then, the pores are clean and open (remember your scalp is skin too!). what castor oil does it prevents the scalp from becoming clogged. Clogged pores don't grow hair very well :/
So the frequency of applying it depends on when you wash your hair, in my experience. Yes you massage it in. As for the time, just until your scalp is fully moisturized. Again, it depends.
