The suspect also failed to show documents supporting her claim that she is a doctor of medicine.
Two women went to CIDG to report that their buttocks became swollen after Rabor performed cosmetic surgery on them.
Rabor refused to comment on the allegations.
Referral
Emily, 34, and Jane, 37, (real names withheld upon request) said they met with Rabor last February after getting a referral from a friend, who said Rabor is a doctor and can perform cosmetic enhancements.
In the first week of February, Emily said they had a nose job done by Rabor.
“Sa pagpataas namo sa ilong through injection, okay raman to. Walay side effects, mao nga magpa inject nasad mi sa among butt (When we had our nose done through injection it was okay, there were no side effects that’s why we decided to have a butt injection),” Emily narrated.
She said they paid P8,000 for the nose job and Rabor reportedly asked P60,000 for the butt enhancement, which is good for three sessions.
“When she (Rabor) finished the butt enhancement, which was to inject collagen in our buttocks for three sessions, we noticed a week after the injection that our butts were swollen,” Emily said in Cebuano.
After two weeks, Emily said they already had an infection. They noticed a secretion of collagen from the swelling.
Complaint
Jane said they texted Rabor to complain about the swelling.
“Pagreklamo namo sa iyaha lain naman nuon kaayo iyang tubag. Niingon ra siya na tumar lang daw og antibiotics ug pahiran og alugbati imong samad para dili mohubag og samot (When we complained, her response was rude. she merely told us to take antibiotics and put some vine spinach leaves on our wound to prevent further swelling),” said Jane.
Jane said they decided to report the incident to CIDG 7.
“We want her to pay for the damage she caused us,” said Jane in Cebuano.
Fermin Armendarez of CIDG 7 said that after receiving the report, they conducted an entrapment yesterday at 10:30 a.m.
Records
Rabor was arrested in her house, which also served as her clinic in Barangay Kinasang-an, Cebu City. They used the victims as a decoy with an entrapment money of almost P1,000.
Armendarez said they will still have to check the records of Rabor in the Philippine Regulatory Commission to check her claim that she really is a doctor.
He added that according to their investigation, Rabor has allegedly been conducting cosmetic surgery for at least three years already.
Also seized from Rabor’s possession were surgical equipment and materials used for cosmetic enhancement, such as ampoules of glutathione, injections, collagen and creams.
A complaint will be filed against Rabor for allegedly violating Republic Act 2382, or the Medical Act of 1959. she will also face complaints of estafa.
