Octomom: No plastic surgery for semi-nude shoot – In Your Face : The Orange County Register

With Octomom Nadya Suleman in the news for posing in semi-nude photos for a British magazine, questions about whether she’s had plastic surgery — specifically a tummy tuck — are coming up again..the mother of 14 was paid to appear in the photos for Closer magazine, where the cover screams, “Octomum bares all! ‘My body’s never looked this good!’.Since then, Suleman gave a video interview on Celebuzz denying that she’s had anything but a breast reduction in the past.

“I’ve never had a tummy tuck,” says Suleman, 36, in the video. She says she had skin removed from around her navel area because of an issue with a belly button ring.

When Celebuzz asked if she would consider getting plastic surgery in the future, she said:

“I think God gives us what we were born with. I’m different, my ethnicity is mixed. Middle Eastern, and European and Lithuanian and German. And so, I don’t believe in it.”

Two years ago, she was on the cover of Star magazine showing off her bikini-ready body and saying she lost 150 pounds through diet and exercise alone. Suleman delivered her octuplets in 2009. She previously had six children.

Some Orange County doctors told this blog at the time of the Star magazine story that plastic surgery would have been needed to tighten the stretched skin from her last pregnancy, though her claim of no nip-tucks was not completely discounted.

But for some cosmetic doctors, the shape of Suleman’s belly button is evidence that she had a tummy tuck. Plastic surgeon and blogger Dr. Tony Youn said, “The belly button looks like her surgeon either created it herself or inset it as a vertical slit. in my opinion, this is a telltale sign of a tummy tuck.”

And, as noted in this blog, Dr. Daniel Capen of Downey examined Suleman in 2000 in connection with a workers compensation claim that she filed. His report  stated, in part: ”Surgical history is positive for breast augmentation 1993.”

An attorney for Octomom Nadya Suleman says she agreed to a paid interview and semi-nude photographs for a British magazine because she’s struggling financially.

Southern California attorney Jeff Czech said that with 14 children to care for, Suleman can’t hold down a regular job to pay bills and ”does whatever she can.”

in photos posted to TMZ.com and published in Britain’s Closer magazine, Suleman wears panties and little else.

in the interview Suleman says she has been celibate for 13 years – her children were all conceived through a sperm donor – and that she has to work hard at “disguising her beauty” to put off men. “I get way too much maze attention, but I won’t date until the octuplets are 18 – I live for them now,” she insists. “I know a lot of women like male attention, but I’ll go out with no make-up on and wear tracksuits, a wig and even a fake pregnancy stomach to put them off.”

The mother of 14 is already an object of hate for many, and sharing how easy she bounces back from her enormous pregnancy body will most likely not make her any new friends.

“I eat like a horse, don’t count calories and have never owned a set of scales. I gained an entire human when I was pregnant with the octuplets – going from 10st (63kg) to over 19st (120kg) – but, two months later, I was a size 8 again. now, I never weigh myself.”

her attorney declined to disclose how much Suleman was paid for the photo shoot and interview. in 2009, Suleman declined a million-dollar offer to appear in pornography.

when Suleman gave birth to octuplets in 2009, she already had six other children. All her children were conceived through in vitro fertility treatments.

I’m sure the plastic surgery was a pretty good aid when it came to losing weight too. Stretch marks don’t "disappear" like hers seem to have (plus I seem to recall a story about how she got it done for free…..).

Kim Kardashian says she is insecure about her curvy body and has the same worries as everyone else.

Kim Kardashian is insecure about her figure.

The gorgeous reality TV star says she often worries about her body and often struggles to feel good about her womanly shape.

She said: “I’m not always confident – of course I have hang-ups like everyone else. I’ve never been a big fan of my thighs, but I do love my stomach when it’s in shape. I work out with my personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, for an hour each day and do classes. but I enjoy running on the treadmill.”

The 29-year-old beauty also admitted to trying Botox but said she would think carefully before having plastic surgery.

She explained to Closer magazine: “I don’t worry about ageing. I might consider a ‘lift’ but women in Los Angles go too far. I don’t want to end up with big puffy lips and a scary stretched-back face.”

Although she is conscious of her figure, Kim admits she finds it difficult to stay away from junk food.

She said: “When I fancy a snack I reach for cookies. I’m a classic yo-yoer, but I’m always determined to get back into shape.”

Kim – who will launch a new clothing line K-Dash with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney and mother Kris Jenner on September 10 – complained last week that she was having difficulty finding a dress to fit her for the Emmy Awards last Sunday night (29.08.10).

She said: “My stylist Monica has some amazing choices . . . I haven’t fit into anything yet.”
