Who knew that little Mermaid surgery was a service that plastic surgeons offered?
The web has recently been buzzing about this bizarre procedure, which has nothing to do with some crazed Disney princess fan going under the knife to widen her eyes, whittle down her waist, get perky implants, and turn her legs into a fishtail. instead everyone is talking about Ariel’s recent appearance in an ad for a plastic surgeon.
As the fairytale goes, everyone’s favorite redheaded, fork-loving sea-dweller decides that it’s not better down where it’s wetter and decides to trade her tail for a pair of legs. she then gives her voice to overweight sea witch Ursula in exchange for some— what do you call them? Oh yeah, feet.
However, Venezuelan plastic surgery center Clinica Dempere has changed the fairytale up by throwing in some little mermaid surgery.
In an ad that has gone viral, the center shows a sequence of drawings featuring Ariel visiting a much-thinner Ursula, laying on a surgeon’s table, and emerging with a great pair of gams. some people also think that the little Mermaid doesn’t look so little up top after her surgery, and her face looks a little tight and unnatural. So perhaps she got a boob job and Botox to go with her leg implants.
So what happened with Ursula? The witch obviously had some liposuction done herself, so instead of cruelly stealing Ariel’s voice, perhaps she just recommended her amazing plastic surgeon. Or maybe Ariel didn’t like the deal that Ursula was offering and decided that plastic surgery was a better option.
Parents probably will not be happy about a Disney princess being used to sell plastic surgery, but the House of Mouse likely didn’t sign off on the ad. and now that it has gotten so much attention, Clinica Dempere’s Ariel knockoff might be forced to move back in with her crab and flounder friends.
