When celebs get plastic surgery — particularly rhinoplasty — it’s not always as obvious as, say, Jennifer Grey’s nose job that left her unrecognizable to fans of Frances “Baby” Houseman. Or even Ashlee Simpson‘s post-attempt-at-a-pop-music career nose job. Some schnoz-jobs are a little more subtle, usually either because they were performed over time or before the star got big (usually the preferable of the two slick ways of getting “work” done). And hey, if you’re going to get plastic surgery, it’s probably better that you leave everyone guessing (“hey, maybe her face just grew into her nose?!”) than be required to come out and say you had a “deviated septum” (yeah RIGHT!).

Here, a few celebs who have either a.) definitely gone under the knife — or b.) just were lucky enough to get better looking with time?

Jennifer Aniston - if you look closely, this former “Friend”‘s nose has changed almost as frequently as her hairstyle. She’s definitely had at least two procedures for “a deviated septum” (uh huh), but might there have been a few more for vanity reasons? Considering what she looked like in Ferris Bueller — the TV show (oh yes, she was in that) — vs. now, I’d venture to say “yes.”

Ashton Kutcher - Before he was Mr. Demi Moore, aka your favorite camera salesman and Twitter addict, Kutcher definitely had a somewhat wider and less handsome nose! Being that he was a model when he was very young, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had one back then, and maybe even one since. You know, come to think of it, he and Demi definitely hit up the same Dr. 90210 together right after Kabbalah lessons.

Blake Lively – Even though her rep vehemently denies it, there has definitely been some shrinkage of Serena van der Woodsen’s shnoz from her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (part one) days to her Gossip Girl ones. Then again, she was just a teen in the Pants days, so who knows …?

Kim Kardashian – the most charismatic of the K sisters by far, it seems like Kim has gone through a few metamorphoses. (And I don’t just mean from some chick who put out a sex tape and was friends to Paris Hilton to being EVERWHERE.) Although she has claimed she wouldn’t want to mess with her face, this is the same woman who tried Botox at 30 years old. so let’s get real here, people.

Mila Kunis – From ’70s Show hippie chick to Black Swan ballerina, Mila Kunis has evolved from cute and funny funny gal to sophisticated dramatic actress. But is it possible she’s had an advantage all this time in the classic beauty department thanks to a nose job she had when she was very young? Judging from a few black and white yearbook photos, it’s possible. But it could just be a matter of her face changing with age.

Zac Efron - Before there was Justin Bieber, there was Zac Efron — who was frequently teased that he looks like a girl. Maybe all that taunting just got to the heartthrob, so he cracked and ran off for a little nose re-shaping? the bridge of his nose has definitely thinned out over time. Given how much thick orange makeup the kid was wearing on his day off when I met him back in 2006, I wouldn’t put a nose job past him.
