China ‘Cannibal’ Attack: Man Attacks Woman in Car, Chews on Face

July 2, 2012 Updated Jul 2, 2012 at 11:08 AM PDT

The recent terrifying spate of ‘cannibal attacks’ seems to have spread to China, as a drunk bus driver was caught on camera gnawing at a woman’s face in a horrific random attack.

The unfortunate woman will apparently require plastic surgery to repair the damage done by her crazed attacker. According to local news reports, the driver, named Dong, had been drinking heavily during lunch with his friends before the outburst on Tuesday.

He then ran on to the road in the city of Wenzhou, in south-east China, and stood in front of the car being driven by a woman named Du, stopping her from moving.

Dong climbed on the car’s hood and started beating the vehicle while the panicked woman screamed for help. When she left the car and tried to escape, the bus driver leaped on top of her and wrestled her to the ground.

It was then that Dong started biting Du’s face, leaving her covered in blood and weeping as passers-by tried to pull the attacker off his victim. Witnesses said that the bus driver had gone ‘crazy’ and was successfully resisting attempts to subdue him.

When police arrived, they managed to take Dong into custody, bringing the appalling rampage to an end. Du was taken to hospital, where doctors said she would need surgery to repair her nose and lips.

The incident comes in the wake of a number of similar attacks committed by drugged-up psychopaths in the U.S.

Perhaps the best-known of these came in May, when Rudy Eugene chewed a homeless man’s face off before being shot dead by police.

Nail polish is commonly used by ladies to make the finger look beautiful. There are numerous brands of nail polishes in the market. Nail polish removers are used to remove the nail polish easily with out any difficulty such that different colors can be applied depending on the shade of the dress they wear.

Onychoschizia(splitting of the fingernails) is one of the problem noticed by dermatologist among those who use nail polish removers.

Causes

  • Repetitive and prolonged wetting and drying of the fingernails is the single most common cause of splitting and ridging of the nails.
  • Splitting of the nails is rarely caused by internal disease or vitamin deficiency.

Anti-aging creams

Nowadays people doesn’t like to hear that they look old, so they use many methods to make them look young.

The name sounds that it will prevent aging (truly speaking it will hide aging). Main symptom of aging is wrinkling of the skin, these creams will prevent wrinkles.

  • Retinol Anti-Wrinkle treatment
  • Retinol Anti-Wrinkle Treatment releases pure and active vitamin a below the skin’s surface, reducing the signs of aging. as a result, skin renews itself and fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced.

  • Anti Aging Cream from Emusing Secrets
  • The environment can make your skin dry, rough and flaky causing lines and wrinkles. Daily use of this cream can aid your skin to visible recovery from signs of environmental exposure by improving skin appearance with replenishing and moisturizing effects of this exclusive formula, fortified with emu oil.

    Gels

Recently there are many styling and setting products that comes in market that have little to do with the traditional product. The key component for these products are plastic resin that forms a thin layer over the hair fiber that, once you have styled your hair, sets and holds the style in shape. There may also be other ingredients in the formulation such as silicone to impart shine or perfume for a nice smell. There may be conditioning agents or ingredients with anti static action that improve hair manageability.

    Sunscreens

Over exposure of skin in sunlight will cause skin cancer. other effects caused are wrinkles, freckles, age spots, dilated blood vessels, changes in the texture of the skin that make skin look older, and skin cancers. Sunscreens are an important part of a sun protection regime and should be used in conjunction with other sun safety steps for optimal sun protection. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends to avoid deliberate sunbathing. if you must be in the sun certain precautions should be made like wearing a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and protective clothing, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15 even on cloudy days.

Sun tanning is one such lotion which is used to protect the skin from sunlight, it contain dihydroxyacetone which interacts with proteins in the skin to produce an orange/tan color that doesn’t wash off, but this is not sufficient so additional sunscreens should be used.

Hot talk nowadays is about the ozone hole, this is much related to skin cancer. The UV rays from the sun attacks the earth directly due to this hole. There are 2 types on invisible UV rays they are UV-A and UV-B both causes sun tan, sun burn and sun damages. Newer broad-spectrum sunscreens contain products to block UVA. these must be reapplied every 11/2 hours to keep working. because some ultraviolet light gets through sunscreens, they should not be used as a way of prolonging sun exposure – only to avoid sunburn.

    The Perfection Obsession

We’ve come a long way since the days of the caveman. Surely, life was much simpler then. Did caveman really worry about whether he should undergo some laser hair removal for his hairy back, or did cavewoman worry about fixing her sagging breasts? probably not.

Modern society worries a little more. We’re obsessed with the way we look. And when you can pop down to your local cosmetic surgery during your lunch break for a quick injection to smooth those fine lines, it’s no surprise that we are warming to the idea of cosmetic enhancement. It’s quick, easy, and most importantly, stops the ageing process in its tracks.

But what is to be said of this need for perfection? this lack of societal self-esteem? How far do our insecurities trickle down?

According to a Cartoon Network survey, one in four girls aged 7-14 wish they could change the way they look. Another 1 in 3 wear makeup every day.

“What seems to be happening is that young people say how I look is fixed on how I feel about myself and therefore their self worth. I think they are striving for an ideal which is just not achievable,” Butterfly Foundation CEO Christine Moyan told NINETOFIVE.

The Foundation is a community based charitable organisation that supports eating disorder sufferers and their carers through direct financial relief, amongst many others.

“I think it’s quite unhealthy [to aspire to image perfection].”

According to eatingdisorders.org.au, 94 per cent of Australian female university students want to be slimmer, even though 31 per cent are already underweight. We spend around $1 million a day on weight loss attempts with very little success.

But it’s not just the girls that have become self-conscious.

Research suggests that men are becoming increasingly concerned about the size, shape and overall appearance of their bodies.  In 1972, 15 per cent of men were reported to be dissatisfied with their overall appearance.  by 1985, this had risen to 34 per cent and by 1997, to 43 per cent, while one in three young males want their body to be heavier. however, prevailing cultural values encourage many boys to desire increased size and muscle mass.

And when hectic work and social schedules have made us all too time poor to think about exercise, healthy living and stress-free days, enhancements have become easily available as a quick fix, without losing precious time.

“Plastic surgery—whether cosmetic or reconstructive—encourages and promotes a strong, positive self-image,” says plasticsurgery.org.

“Even a small change on the outside can create an extraordinary change on the inside, allowing an individual’s self-confidence to flourish.”

Orange County plastic surgeon Tania Kearn agrees that a quick nip/tuck is good for the ego.

“In fact, there is much to be said from the positive benefit a person can receive – and the boost in self confidence that can be experienced – when physical problems are solved.  “Cosmetic surgery can literally be a life changing event, helping you take a new approach to your life and helping you maintain a positive outlook.”

It’s no wonder we strive to look perfect. if Heidi Montag, Demi Moore and Ashlee Simpson need to undergo surgery to fight off ageing or insecurity, the average Joe and Jodie have no chance.

Luckily, not all celebs are on the pro-tox bandwagon.

    “F**k surgery!” slams Drew Barrymore.

“I’m so curious as to what’s going to happen naturally that I can’t imagine wanting to alter things just yet.

“And to all those women putting botulism (botox) in their faces – we don’t know what the long-term effects are, so stop! I’d rather look like a basset hound than do that to my face!’

Closer to home, in an interview with this writer last year, songstress Vanessa Amorosi spoke about her message about the beauty of imperfection in her number one single, this is who I am.

“I really wanted to say to people that the imperfections of you are the things that are most attractive.

“Even the best-looking people or the most successful people in the world have things about them they hate.”

While it would be great to have the bone structure of David Beckham or Angelina Jolie’s lips, who wants to be a clone?

“Body image, whether it’s positive or negative is not so much about what your body looks like, the shape or the size, but rather how you feel about it,” Moyan sums up.

“Perfect body image is a sense of a wholeness and acceptability of what your body image is and importantly not judging your body by the shape or size.”

“It’s a very difficult task [to accept your body as it is] but I do think it is possible, because from small things big things grow.”
