Double Chin Solutions – Plastic Surgery

There are tons of people who are overweight and are getting older, ultimately causing them to suffer from a double chin. This is a common phenomenon in many instances. but if you are not overweight, then it might be a little more difficult to get rid of that chin surgery. one solution to explore is plastic surgery. Solutions for a double chin are rare. although plastic surgery is invasive, most of the times, it doesn’t call for an overnight hospital stay.

You can also undergo liposuction chin fat surgery. This kind of surgery sucks out the fat stored in your chin obesity and will reduce its appearance. This is one surgery that does not call for an overnight stay if there are no unseen complications that occur. Unseen complications are rare, and for most people it’s back to work in just a day or two after getting liposuction double chin surgery.

But for some people chin fat surgery may not an option.

Because most insurance companies don’t cover this type of medical solution thus you will need cover the costs of the surgery from your own pocket. Those who have a low or fixed income just might have to suffer the chin fat their whole life’s because they cannot afford the surgery.

Although they cannot afford the plastic surgery, other methods of double chin elimination are possible such as a healthier diet. again, this is only possible for those who suffer the chin obesity because of weight gain. when the person is not over weight and has a double chin the problem is most likely a hereditary issue, in this case, there is no help aside from skin creams and exercise.

Because of the sort of nature that the plastic surgery has, there may be some who will pass up on this option.

They will probably try out the creams because they are less invasive. make sure that you research a product properly before you try if for the first time, even if it is recommended to you by your physician. There are just too many products out there that make false claims or contain useless ingredients that in some cases can even be harmful. Knowing what will work best for you is the fastest path to a thinner chin.

FRIENDS of a mum who cannot cuddle her five-year-old daughter because of a crippling disease are raising money for pioneering treatment.

Dawn White, 40, of Southern Drive, Loughton, suffers from an aggressive form of motor neurone disease, which has left her almost completely unable to move or talk.

her only hope of slowing down or reversing the effects of the disease is to have experimental stem cell treatment at a clinic in Switzerland, which costs £18,000.

“My daughter Eliza has only just turned five and since she was four, she has lost an interactive mum,” she said. “When she cries, I can’t put my arms around her to cuddle her, which is heartbreaking.

“For me, I feel like I have just disappeared. My whole life has drastically changed.

“I’m unable to do anything except verbally communicate with everyone and now my speech is going too.”

the treatment, which is so experimental it has not yet been approved for use in the UK, involves injecting her will cells taken from her own body.

She has travelled to the clinic in Zurich once so far and plans to make day trips there for the rest of her treatment, which will last six to nine months.

“It’s a long way to travel in one day, for one injection,” she said. “It doesn’t seem right that in this country you can inject yourself with Botox and have unregulated cosmetic surgery and yet something that may save my life is not allowed.

“When there is nothing else available for motor neurone disease suffers I really have no choice.”

She relies on her husband, Matt, for most of her care and her friends want to be able to pay for more professional care.

“I hate the fact that I have to ask people, especially my husband, to help me to do the simplist things, like have a drink or scratch my nose,” she added.

her friends and family are planning a cabaret night at Gilwell Park in Epping Forest next Saturday (February 18) and an evening of alternative therapy, including massage and Reiki at the Old Golden Lion pub in Borders Lane, Debden, from 11am until 3pm the following day.

Linked-benefit products spur 62% combined individual life sales surge

New premium sales of individual life combination products rose 62% in 2010, reaching $1.2 billion, boosted by linked-benefit products, according to LIMRA. The increase marks the second straight year of double-digit growth.

Last year, linked-benefit products grew 60%, representing 45% of policies sold. The linked benefit products provide long-term care benefits above and beyond the life death benefit.  The buyer decides on the life face amount, and then decides on the additional LTC benefit.  These are mostly single premium and all-in-one packaged products.

“Overall sales of combination products in 2010 were remarkable, especially coming off the double-digit growth experienced in 2009,” said Catherine Ho, LIMRA research actuary, in a statement.

She attributed the growth to carriers boosting their marketing campaigns” and consumers’ growing desire for an alternative to stand-alone long term care insurance (LTCI).

“For some buyers, combination products are a more affordable alternative to stand-alone LTCI,” she added.

New sales of combination products represent 6% of the individual life insurance market, based on new premium.  In addition, with more than 26,000 policies sold in 2010, policy count of combination products increased 69% over 2009 sales results.

Similar to the overall individual life insurance market, sales of whole life (WL) and universal life (UL) combination products increased in 2010 over 2009.  However, UL combination products continue to be the biggest segment of this market, not just in premium but also in new policies and insurance sold, LIMRA found.

New premium rose 58% from 2009, representing 80% of the combination market.  and policy count increased 60% from 2009 sales results.

Sales of variable life products have been down the past two years, not yet recovering from lows hit during the financial crisis.  however, new premium sales of variable universal life (VUL) combination products increased 44% and policy count improved 88% last year.

Acceleration products experienced 76% growth in 2010. Sales growth of acceleration products exceeded linked benefit products in 2010 and now makes up 55% of the market by policies sold.  Acceleration products provide LTC benefits up to the amount of the life death benefit and are more commonly riders that can be attached to many of the products in a carrier’s life product portfolio.  When LTC benefits are needed, it draws down or accelerates the death benefit.  these products typically have much higher face amounts, but the portion that can be accelerated for LTC may be capped.

LIMRA found that buyers in their 60s continue to be the biggest portion of in-force policies. however, acceleration products are gaining traction in the younger market and with higher face amount policies.  The overall trend in average face amount has steadily increased for acceleration products, but stayed level for linked benefit products.

According to the study, female policyowners account for almost 65% of in-force policies, an increase of 6% from the 2009 survey.  The biggest gap between genders occurs between issue ages 75 and 79.

Via RackedDesigner Diane von Furstenberg sits for a photo portrait and a talk with Chuck Close for Harper’s Bazaar—the duo talk about wrinkles, plastic surgery, and Jeanne Moreau.

“I was a little bit intimidated because if Chuck photographs you, it’s very much like an X-ray, in the sense that there’s nothing to hide behind,” says the designer.at 64, the designer has never had any plastic surgery, has no plans to, and if anything takes pride in her lines: “I’ve always liked wrinkles,” she says. “When I was a young girl, I used to make lines on my face with my nails because I loved Jeanne Moreau. I always wanted to be older; I always added years to my life. for the longest time, if people thought I was older I would take it as a compliment.”

Chuck Close: “for me, imperfections and wrinkles give you character. They’re the road map of your life. if you’ve laughed your whole life, you have laugh lines. if you’ve frowned your whole life, you have furrows on your brow. all the stuff that people want to hide is exactly what needs to be there for a portrait, as far as I’m concerned. I love the stuff that people hate, all stuff that people airbrush out or Photoshop out.”Photo credit: Chuck Close, courtesy the Pace Gallery

the following blog post is brought to everyone by plastic surgery scars

Teen years are a stressful time, especially if you suffer from acne. Severe acne can show up constantly in your teen years. If it is severe enough, it can cause scarring that will stick with you your whole life. Luckily, there are a few home remedies that can help treat your acne scars.

Don’t expect all of these treatments to work. One home remedy could work great for you and another remedy could not work at all. Sometimes you might even need to use a combination of them to relieve yourself of acne scars.

You should experiment with each of the different remedies and also try combining them to get the best results.

One home remedy for acne scars is using cucumber and tomato juice on your scars. This should help because the tomato has antioxidants and the cucumber has a soothing effect. Tea tree oil could also be used to remedy the scars.

Tea tree oil is known to be an antibiotic in nature that helps reduce scarring and can also keep more acne outbreaks from happening.Lots of tea tree oils and different supplements are available at health supplement stores.

Lots of home remedies that can treat acne scars are commonly overlooked. These include lemon juice, having a balanced diet, and water. Water helps because it makes up almost our entire body.

Drinking water keeps you hydrated and will help your body be able to heal your acne scars.

The purpose of using lemon juice on your acne scars is that it can remove some of the dead skin cells.

Having a balanced diet has about the same effect as staying hydrated, it will help keep your body healthy and improve the healing process.

Using these home remedies individually or in combination with others can help you treat your acne scars. Also, if using home remedies doesn’t work, you can try a proven acne scar removal cream. Some of these creams have been shown to reduce extremely severe acne scars.
