A woman has made a personal injury claim following mistakes made during her plastic surgery operation.the woman made an injury claim for £54 million after she suffered nerve damage all around her eye. the injuries have left her suffering from facial movements that she is unable to control as well as some pain in her face. As well as the physical impact, the victim has also claimed that it has affected her career too. the victim found it difficult to meet with clients and this meant that her company suffered and she eventually had to sell it.

The woman made a personal injury claim for compensation because she claimed that the injuries were caused by medical negligence. In the claim, the victim has stated that the surgeon tried out experimental methods on her and then tried to hide the fact that he’d done this.

Over the last ten years, the number of personal injury claims made relating to cosmetic surgery has increased as more people undergo this type of surgery. there have been calls to tighten up the regulations related to cosmetic surgery to avoid mistakes and the number of injury claims being made.
